A purpose built resort on the south coast with the islands most extensive golf course as it's hub. This gives rise to a predominantly green landscape most unusual in this part of the island and all within 10 minutes drive of the Reina Sofia airport, The resort is most suitable for families with small children or as relaxing retreat for couples, especially golfers. A wide range of restaurants and shops are available on the resort, but if you are looking for nightclubs and discos you will need to drive 15 minutes up the coast to Los Cristianos or Las Americas. The major part of the resort is fairly flat making it ideal for the less able. A car is not necessary as there is a regular bus service to Sta Cruz, Los Cristianos/Las Americas and points inbetween. | How to get there | Leaving the Reina Sofia airport take the right hand lane and follow signs onto TF1 in direction of Los Cristianos. Take exit 24 off TF-1 following signs to Los Abrigos. Following the slip road up to the roundabout where you need to take the turning to Golf del Sur. Follow the road, heading towards the sea, until you reach a turn off right to Golf del Sur, at this roundabout take the second exit and follow the road down into Golf del Sur. | |||||||||||
| Distance from Airport | 8 Kms / 10 minutes drive. This DOES NOT mean that you will have constant aircraft noise, all our apartments are off the flight path and relatively quiet. | |||||||||||
| Coastline/Beaches | The coastline is predominately rocky with pebble beaches. There is a seawater pool set in to the rocks for safe bathing. If you are in search of sand to go with your sun and sea, an unspoilt sandy beach can be found at La Tejita just 10 minutes to the east by car. There is a marina between Golf del Sur and Amarilla Bay offering 'Yellow submarine' safaris. | |||||||||||
