The course will have a Clubhouse, three-hole practice course and Golf Academy. The layout of the course includes twenty-two lakes, white-sand bunkers and over 90,000 palms and other trees mixed with a variety of other plants making this a garden of tropical flora. As an added attraction, the holes have been designed with a view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Island of La Gomera. A true paradise for golfers, Abama Golf will be an eighteen-hole par-72 competition course with a further nine holes for a total of twenty-seven. All have been designed by the prestigious golf legend, Dave Thomas (San Roque Golf Club, The Belfry, etc.)
The academy will be capable of recreating real situations on the course. There will also be putting and chipping areas, a bunker area, as well as three holes to test the skill of golfers at the Abama Golf Academy.
